Most of us just think that to grow our business it takes good marketing which involves the number of ezines we send out, how many articles we post, and how often we are chatting up friends on Facebook, etc.
And while those are all parts of the marketing mix, the MOST important is to do the foundational or “Inner Marketing” because if you are missing this…it’s like building a house on quick sand.
Think about it this way – you would not attempt to build a structure without first measuring the land and then not have an architect design the plans for what it will look like.
And you’d never just start ‘planting stuff’ for a garden without first pulling the weeds and making sure the soil was the most optimal it could be to nourish the plants.
So why do we do this when we attempt to grow with our marketing efforts? So many people just create programs or service offerings without doing the deep dive into knowing what makes them unique and what value it will bring to their audience.
